" Billy "Fatback" Cornelius was born and raised in Albuquerque. Billy moved to Seattle, WA in 1994 where he dedicated much of his time to assisting those with developmental disabilities and was involved in the Seattle music scene. Due to his incredible wit, sarcastic humor and ability to improvise, Billy was often told by friends and family "You should be in radio." Billy took the advice, moved back home to New Mexico and began his quest for a career in broadcasting.
Billy took the first available entry level job as a promotions assistant with 770 KKOB in 2004. A short time later Billy was promoted to producer/sidekick for The Bob Clark Show/Scott Stiegler Show and was the fill-in producer for Richard Eeds and The Jim Villanucci Show. In 2007 Billy took over as the full time producer for The Jim Villanucci Show/The Scott Stiegler Show. That opportunity allowed Billy to learn and develop his own unique style of broadcasting which is now heard on his own show "The Fatback Nation". "
