(ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.) -- A woman was injured in a car crash on Thursday while driving down Interstate 40.

The unidentified victim was ejected after her car crashed into another vehicle on I-40 Eastbound near 6th Street, according to the Albuquerque Police Department.

The woman was rushed to the University of New Mexico Hospital and appears to be seriously injured, police report.
